The Eagle Has Landed!

Below is the email we circulated to announce Casimir's birth back in December. Since then we've been updating the blog to make sure all of his fans can keep tabs on him. He doesn't twitter yet - but that's probably just around the corner.

We included Casimir's email address so that you could write to him directly. A number of people decided to email casimir directly and we have reprinted a few of those letters on the blog. Please send him an email if you are so inspired, we'll make sure he gets it.

Dear Friends,
Please join us in welcoming Casimir (“Caz”) Charles Kosinski.

He was born on Wednesday, December 17th at 12:57am.

The little tyke came in at a husky 9 lbs, and was over 21 inches long.

It was a long journey and an exciting adventure. Mom was strong and courageous throughout. Everyone is healthy, happy and content.

Mom, Dad and Baby Caz are resting and will not be taking phone calls for a little while as we all settle in. Pictures soon.

Thank you to everyone for the well wishes and support over the past weeks and months.

Off the charts...

I knew Caz was big when a woman at the grocery store asked if he was 9 months old... on the day before his 4-month birthday. Yesterday he had his 4-month check up and he is as expected pretty big. He weighs 17lbs 12oz - this is in the 98th percentile for his age. He is 27.5 inches long - that is technically off the charts for 4 months. He also has a big head. It was the first time he didn't cry the whole time. Phew.
